Customer Information

  • We respect your privacy and will never pass our customers’ details to any third party, whether they book with our services or not.
  • We do not keep customers’ card details. We will only charge customers’ cards while the customer is on the phone with us

Pricing

  • Prices are inclusive of VAT
  • If you have a discount code, please quote it at the time of booking
  • The price and the vehicle provided is based on the information provided with the enquiry
  • To confirm your booking we require a £100 deposit for local moves and £150 for long distance moves. The deposit is fully refundable in the event of a cancellation providing the cancellation is not within the last 7 days of the move.
  • There is no charge for changing the date of your move, providing the new date has not already been booked
  • The price is as quoted and agreed at the time of booking. Moving staff have no authority to change the price.
  • The prices assume that the move will not take more than 8 hours. If the move takes more than 8 hours, the hourly rate will apply after 8 hours
  • We accept all major debit/credit cards. There is a 3.5% processing fee with card payments
  • We also accept cash and cheques. If you intend to pay by cheque, please make sure it reaches us at least 10 days before the day of the move
  • In case of an hourly rate the rate begins when movers arrive at the collection address and ends when they leave the delivery address

Parking

  • The customer is responsible for arranging parking. We advise that you arrange a parking suspension with your Council if you live in an area where parking is controlled.
  • Parking charges, including PCN’s, if incurred are the customer’s responsibility
    and will be added to the bill

Online/Phone orders

  • Orders placed and paid for before 12 noon Monday to Thursday will be delivered on the next day.
  • If you are not 100% satisfied with the order, please call us on 02033842618 or 08452245063 or e-mail mail@mrremovals.biz to register your complaint
  • If there’s a problem with the order and it our fault, we’ll refund you the value of the damaged/missing item
  • If it’s not something we can sort out over the phone and you have to return the order, we’ll arrange a pick up
  • If you change your mind and decide to cancel the order after we have despatched, then you’ll have to accept delivery and arrange for a return with the courier company at your own expense

Insurance

  • We provide Goods in Transit insurance worth £10 000 per van load.
  • If your goods are worth more than £10 000, please let us know so that we can get this revised.
  • In case of a claim, there’s £250 excess which is the responsibility of the customer.

Storage

  • If you have a discount code, please mention it at the time of booking.
  • The storage week begins on a Monday and ends on a Sunday (any part of the week will be charged as a full week)
  • There’s a 10GBP access fee per container every time you need access to a container
  • We can only provide access to the containers between the following times: Mon – Fri – 9:00 – 16:30, Saturday – 9:00 – 12:00, Sunday – Closed
  • We need at least 3 working days’ notice to get access to the containers. All request should be sent to mail@mrremovals.biz
  • Our storage units measure l – 6’8” x w – 4’11” x h – 7’3”
  • Storage is paid for 28 days in advance
  • Invoices will be e-mailed 14 days before the due date
  • 3% of the total due will be added on all overdue balances
  • These items cannot be stored: perishable goods, money, passports, weapons, flammables, plants, drugs, animals
